In total, you will spend no more than an hour in the office. Step-by-step, the procedure is as follows:

- Next, the Zoom! whitening gel is applied to your teeth
- A Zoom! light is shined on your teeth, activating the Hydrogen Peroxide that was lying dormant in the gel
- The Hydrogen Peroxide breaks down and with no pain to you, infiltrates your enamel and dentin to fight the intrinsic stains that have accumulated
- This process takes fifteen minutes and is repeated twice, for a total treatment time of 45 minutes
