Excellent!! I came here after having to relocate my former dentist who was in pasadena and I wanted someone closer to my home in Studio City.

I’ve always had excellent dentists and take good care of my teeth (so I think) as I am very picky about teeth and what I look for in a dentist and his staff/office. I want a clean, nice professional environment, with professional staff. A place that pays attention to detail. and that is not going to milk you for every penny for things you really do not need.

I will say the first visit went well I needed to get xrays then make my cleaning appt. The staff was very professional. The office is very nice and great parking lot behid the building, huge plus!! The Hygenist who cleaned my teeth even went into detail about my teeth and how i needed to brush them etc.. I was so happy I even referred my husband who so far has had a pleasant experience. and I even got sent a starbucks gift card for the referral which was a NICE touch!!

Give em a try if you are looking for a good family dentist or other services he provides..

Is it just me, or is it ridiculously hard to find a good dentist in LA? My whole life, I’ve been told by dentists and hygienists that I have a healthy, beautiful set of teeth. But as soon as I moved to LA, my teeth somehow became not white enough and not straight enough, and I was told I needed more frequent cleanings. Dentists in this town are always trying to convince me my teeth are horrible, that I need this done, I need that done.

I’m sooo glad I found Dr. Sands! He and his staff are professional and personable. I felt a real sense of honesty here and found it refreshing to see a dentist in LA and not feel pressured to sign up for services I don’t need.

I came here for a cleaning and a filling last week. And I’m not gonna pretend I enjoyed them (seriously, who *enjoys* dental work?) – but I will say that my experience here was among the best I’ve had.

Alex did my cleaning, and she was great. I’m one of those annoying people who asks a lot of questions and wants to understand every little thing, and Alex seemed more than happy to explain things and to educate me. Very patient and super nice.

Dr. Sands did my filling with his assistant Yolanda. I warned them in advance that I’m a fainter, and they were really accommodating. They were attentive, gentle, gave me music and headphones, and the filling was done before I knew it. Easy and painless!

I have complete confidence in Dr. Sands and his staff, and highly recommend their services.

I went here today because of a tooth ache, and this is where my boyfriend goes for his dental work.

Everyone…everyone is SO nice. Yolanda did my x-rays and she was so cool and pleasant. Dr. Sands was really easy to talk to. Kristina was very nice and explained things well, and Elisa (sorry if I misspell) was also great.
They have the latest technology and the atmosphere is great. Good place to go!

I’ll confess I’m probably not the easiest patient but I wish more doctors were like Dr Sands. He has a great bedside manner and thoroughly and patiently explains what you need and answers all your questions. The staff is also very nice. I’ve been going to him for several years and gotten everything from cleanings to a crown. They keep my teeth healthy here!

I skipped out of the office, big lipped and drooling- which was not at all a testament to pain medication- but instead a testament to the kind, careful, and gentle treatment. Not a fan of the dentist- is anyone really? But this experience with Dr. Sands office could actually convince me to do the twice a year check up- that I have been systematically avoiding. I chose this office because of the reviews on yelp- and now I understand why the reviews were glowing.

The office itself is clean, modern and neat- an you don’t see people running around hastily- it doesn’t feel hectic- it actually feels relaxing- which was incredibly calming to me. The receptionist- who’s name I regrettably forget- was wonderful at working with me and sending an application in for financing. I had used up my max from my dental insurance and the two crowns for my root canals were coming out of pocket. She was smart, efficient and capable. Yolonda was the dental assistant that worked on me- she was very kind and comforting and just so personable- she is just the kind of person that you want around when you are terrified and numb. She smiled a lot and was very reassuring- she talked me through the process answered my inane questions and did so willingly and with a smile. I imagined that the dentist would enter with a clown sized drill aimed at my face-that never happened- Dr. Sands made my experience of digging around, filing down, and caping my back teeth as painless as something like that an be. He works with intention and care. I couldn’t have been more nervous and they couldn’t have made for a better experience.

Let me start off by saying I am TERRIFIED of going to the dentist. It’s my biggest fear. But Jason Sands was recommended to me by someone I trust, so I checked him out. And I ‘m so glad I did.

Everyone in this office is awesome. His hygienists were so nice and patient with me. And Dr. Sands was the best! He was really gentle and great at calming my nerves.
I tell all my friends to go here. So glad I found him!

Not only Jason,but all of his assistants and staff are extremely courteous and make me feel right at ease as soon as I walk in the door. I told him right off the bat that I get extremely anxious whenever I have to get dental work done and he is very accommodating. Cristina cleans my teeth and I was amazed the last time because normally I need to have my mouth numb as I get really fidgety, but she is so gentle yet got my teeth extremely clean. I definitely recommend Jason to not only anyone looking for a good dentist, but especially anyone who is as scared of dentists as I am.

Dr. Jason Sands is great. He’s always been very patient and answers any questions I have, and everyone that works there is great! I definitely used to fear going to the dentist, but I no longer am thanks to Dr. Sands. He and his hygienists are very gentle and take the time to make sure you are comfortable and doing okay.

I made an appointment recently, just going in for a checkup and found the whole staff to be super friendly and helpful – Very nice facility and very accomodating.
Along with the regular checkup im gettting my teeth whitened too! highly recomended and conveniently located.
