- Remove any disease or jagged portion of the tooth
- If needed, a post will be added to support the crown
- If none of the original tooth is salvageable, a impression will be made of the surrounding teeth
- An order will be sent to the lab for a crown or dental implant to be manufacture specifically to match the neighboring teeth
- A temporary crown will be put on, in the interim
- A second visit is required to attach the crown
